Acceptable use policy

Last updated August 2026. This page describes the service’s current rules and is not a substitute for legal review before relying on it to justify enforcement action.

Purpose

cent-ai’s tools and API are free for personal and professional use. This policy exists to keep the service usable for everyone.

Prohibited uses

  • Attempting to submit malicious input intended to exploit or crash the service
  • Automated abuse that degrades the service for other users
  • Submitting content you do not have the right to process
  • Attempting to bypass payload-size or rate limits

Current limits

Every endpoint enforces a payload size limit (currently 2 MiB by default). No account-based rate limiting is enforced yet — see the API reference for current, accurate limits.

Specific enforcement steps (warning, temporary block, permanent block) are not yet defined. Define them here once there’s an actual mechanism to apply them.
